1. The service
RankAgent provides SEO and AI-visibility tools: website audits, plain-language recommendations, AI-generated fixes, keyword guidance, competitor comparisons, optional rank tracking, and an optional Google Search Console connection. Our audits and recommendations are guidance to help you improve — they are not a guarantee of any particular ranking, traffic, or business outcome.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use RankAgent lawfully and reasonably. You will not:
- Audit, crawl, or connect websites you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
- Use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service, or resell it without our permission.
- Misuse the AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content.
4. Plans, billing & payments
- Paid plans are billed through our payments provider, DodoPayments, acting as Merchant of Record. DodoPayments handles the transaction and applicable taxes (e.g. GST/VAT).
- Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Refund policy
The Founding Member plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund it. Other than where a money-back guarantee applies or where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable for periods already started. To request a refund, email hello@therankagent.com.
6. Connected services (Google Search Console)
You may optionally connect Google Search Console. By connecting it, you authorize RankAgent to access your Search Console data on a read-only basis to display it in your dashboard, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms. You can disconnect at any time.
7. Your content & our content
You keep all rights to the websites, data, and content you provide (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the service to you. RankAgent, including its software, design, and brand, remains our property.
8. AI-generated recommendations
Our AI features produce suggestions (code snippets, fixes, keyword ideas, answers). They can be imperfect or out of date. Review and verify any recommendation before applying it, especially changes to your website. You are responsible for changes you make.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any specific SEO result.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankAgent will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to RankAgent.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
